Our A Litter Has Arrived! 🤍

After a very long wait, we're so excited to finally share that Ember has safely welcomed seven beautiful British Shorthair kittens into the world!

As with any new litter, the first 24 hours are incredibly important. Because of a planned and carefully managed blood type incompatibility between mum and the kittens, they needed some extra support overnight and were hand-fed while we carefully managed those first precious hours. Although it made for a very sleepless night, we're delighted to say that Ember is now feeding all of her babies herself and has taken to motherhood beautifully. She has been absolutely amazing, and we're so proud of her.

Watching her settle into caring for her little family has been incredibly special. The kittens are content, warm and spending their days doing exactly what newborns should—feeding, sleeping and growing.

Of course, we're still very much in the early stages. Over the coming days and weeks we'll be closely monitoring each kitten, carrying out daily weight checks and making sure every one of them continues to thrive. Those first few weeks are such an important milestone, so our focus right now is simply on giving them the very best start in life.

Once we're confident that everyone is growing well and developing as they should, we'll begin contacting families who have already registered their interest. They'll have the first opportunity to reserve a TeddyGems kitten before any remaining availability is announced more widely.
