At TeddyGems, we are passionate hobby breeders of beautiful British Shorthair cats, lovingly raised in our busy family home in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Our queens are first and foremost cherished family pets, and every kitten is brought up with the care, attention, and affection we believe every cat deserves.

We are dedicated to producing healthy, well-socialised family companions that bring happiness to other families, while also striving to preserve and promote excellent examples of the British Shorthair breed standard.

As exhibitors of British Shorthairs under both the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) and The International Cat Association (TICA), we are committed to responsible breeding practices, health, temperament, and quality.

Our queens are:

• PKD tested by parentage

• HCM screened annually from 1 year of age

• Raised on a high-quality diet of premium raw and cooked foods

• Socialised in a loving family environment with everyday household activity

Every TeddyGems kitten will:

• Be registered with GCCF and/or TICA depending on the litter. (Pet kittens leave non-active unless otherwise agreed)

• Be ready to leave from 13 weeks of age

• Be fully litter trained and well socialised

• Receive vaccinations for:

  • FCV (Feline Calicivirus)

  • FHV (Feline Herpes Virus)

  • FPV (Feline Panleucopenia)

• Be microchipped

• Leave with 5 weeks of free health insurance
